Indrahar Pass is a mountain pass in the Dhauladhar range of the Himalayas. Located at an altitude of 4342 metres/14,245 ft above mean sea level, near the tourist town of Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh. Indrahar pass forms the border between Kangra and Chamba districts. The trek starts from the small town, Mcleodganj, situated in the outskirts of Dharamshala and goes up to Indrahar Pass. The trail passes through the famous Triund, Ilaqa Pass and Lahesh Caves. The ridges over the Dhauladhar do not lend themselves to easy trekking. Trek to the Indrahar pass is no exception, even though it follows one of the more established trails used by the Gaddi shepherds enroute to their summer grazing pastures in the upper Ravi Valley and Lahaul. The ascent to the Indrahar Pass involves a continual climb often over scree or boulders. In the south are spectacular views of the Indian plains; to the north are the sacred peak of Mani Mahesh Kailash and the snow capped Pir Panjal Range.

Highly recommend

Just returned from an amazing trek to Indrahar Pass organized by Manu Adventures. All we had to do was show up with our warm clothes and they looked after every detail from then on. Our guide Sanjay was excellent and very knowledgable, taking great care of our two kids who made it all the way up! The camp was well run and the food was tasty. Thanks Manu, Vaishalee and Sanjay!

Indrahar pass trekking

Excellent organization, professional guides, good milieu. The trek is extremly hard for average trekkers with steep rocks, snow and slippery glaciers. It needs high-level endurance and fitness, and weather conditions could also cause further difficulties. So be sure that you have enough strength for the trek you chose, consult with Manu before you make your final decision.I highly recommend this company, good value for your money.
